It begins

Last night we loaded all the equipment and instruments from our cars in the rehearsal space, which we're converting to a recording studio to track the basic elements for our upcoming CD. Based on how well the results sounds, we may do everything but the vocals there... it's a comfortable collection of rooms on the 11th floor of an office building downtown. Carrying equipment in and out is a total drag, but we've managed to get some good drum sounds in the room just recording rehearsals and we're hoping we can replicate and improve on that for this album. We wrote down all the potential canidates for the CD, about 15 or so songs... seems like a very strong collection and though some will probably be dropped it'll be hard to narrow them down... they all have something we like.
